Your Workflow
- Dispatch Coordination: Begin your shift by checking in with the transportation office, receiving your digital sequence of required trailer moves for a smooth operational flow.
- Tractor Operation: Safely pilot a specialized terminal tractor (yard goat) throughout the facility yard, maintaining a calm, focused demeanor in a high-traffic environment.
- Precision Docking: Execute flawless backing maneuvers, gently sliding 53-foot commercial trailers into narrow dock doors to ensure the interior warehouse teams are continuously supplied with freight.
- Safety Assurance: Conduct visual inspections of trailers for damage, verify that wheel chocks are perfectly engaged, and safely connect air lines, prioritizing your well-being and the safety of others at all times.
Qualifications & Environment
